SEO-Focused Content Moderator and Platform owner

JobWave is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and SEO-knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Content Moderator and optionally Graphic Designer. This role is not only about managing and enhancing our platform but also about personal and professional growth in the dynamic field of digital marketing and web development.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and moderate the JobWave platform, including uploading incoming CVs to our database and managing new user profiles and applications.
• Engage with maritime professionals and employers on social channels.
• Write and optimize content for the maritime industry with a focus on SEO.
• Design graphics for advertisements and promotional materials.
• Document bugs and discuss solutions to improve the platform with our developers

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of SEO or a strong willingness to learn.
• Experience or familiarity with WordPress, Canva, or Photoshop is preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage with a professional community.
• Interest in or knowledge of the maritime industry is a plus.
• Fluentcy in English is required, Dutch would be great as well
